Yvonne J. Benton

Yvonne J. Benton, 79 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Friday, June 2, 2017, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Lewisburg. She was born Monday, March 21, 1938, the daughter of the late Verner Adrian Johnson and the late Minnie Beatrice Stevenson Johnson. She was the wife of the late Thomas Benton. She had been a beautician and had worked on the lacing line at Emerson Electric in Russellville, KY She was a member of New Hope General Baptist Church. Surviving are son, Steve Benton-(Barbara) of Lewisburg, KY, daughters, Karon Lacefield-(Harold) of Clarkson, KY and Sherry Clark-(Jeff) of Lewisburg, KY; 3 grand children; Justin Lacefield, Nicholas Lacefield and Hannah Mae Benton 1 great grand child, Benjamin Lacefield. She was also predeceased by brother, Glendall Johnson. A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256, with Bro. Tim Nugent officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Garden Cemetery, Russellville, KY. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, June 4, 2017, and from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
