William Roy Cox, 90 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Creekwood Place in Russellville, Kentucky. He was born Sunday, July 1, 1923 in Drakesboro, Kentucky, the son of the late Willie Cox and the late Gova Johnson Cox. He was a retired veteran serving in both World War II and the Korean Conflict. Surviving are brother, James Cox of Lewisburg, KY, sister, Eileen Faye McRoy of Colorado Springs, CO. and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY.
