William Dallas "W.D." Gilliam, 95 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, Kentucky. He was born Friday, September 7, 1917 in Logan County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Dallas Gilliam and the late Eva Higgins Gilliam. He was the husband of the late Helen Grise Gilliam. He was employed by the U S Postal Service. He was a Veteran of World War II. He served in Hawaii, Bora Bora, and Bobcat Island. He was a member of Lewisburg United Methodist Church. Surviving are sons, James Gilliam of Lewisburg, KY and Bill Gilliam of Houston, TX, daughter, Linda Gilliam of San Diego, CA; 4 grand children; 3 great grand children. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Harold Sharber officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
