Wanda Lou (Penrod) Coursey, 82 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at Creekwood Place in Russellville, Kentucky. Se was born Friday, April 14, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Porshun Penrod and the late Eupha Webb Penrod. She was the wife of the late David Coursey. She was a homemaker and a member of Elk Lick Baptist Church. She was a member of Homemakers, Lioness Club, Rotary Club, and a pianist for Elk Lick Baptist Church. Surviving are son, Joe Coursey (Jeanne) of Lewisburg, KY, daughters, Cindy Lou Betz (Paul) of Bardstown, KY and Sarah Jones (Chuck) of Murray, KY, brother, Mendel "Butch" White of Rock Hill, SC; daughter-in-law, Mandee Huyek of Paducah, KY; sister-in-law, Barbara Penrod of Russellville, KY; close friend, Rufus Earl Coursey of Lewisburg, KY; 9 grand children; 5 great grand children. She was predeceased by son, Jim Coursey and brother, Glen Penrod. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at Elk Lick Baptist Church with the Rev. Art Hatfield officiating. Interment will be in Elk Lick Baptist Church Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, May 3, 2015, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky. There will also be visitation from 9:00-11:00 AM on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Elk Lick Baptist Church before the funeral service.
