Wanda June Murphy

Wanda June Murphy, 87 of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Hospice of Southern KY in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was born Thursday, April 11, 1935, the daughter of the late Willis Abbott and Hettie Abbott. She was the wife of the late Jack Murphy. Wanda was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for over 25 years. Surviving are Three Sons, Reggie Murphy- (Nelda) of Lewisburg, Gary Murphy- (Patricia) of Manitou, KY, and Roger Murphy- (Jennifer) of Booneville, IN; Six Grandchildren; Eight Great Grandchildren. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg; with Bro. Ronnie Forrest and Bro. Tim Nugent officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until the time of the service on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. Memorial contributions can be made to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
