Wallace Ray Harper, 82 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Monday, January 23, 2012, at Creekwood Place in Russellville, Kentucky. He was born on Tuesday, October 15, 1929 in Butler County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Jerry Harper and the late Etta Moore Harper. He was the husband of Willie Anderson Harper of Lewisburg, who survives. He was a retired carpenter (self employed). He served in the Army. He was a Veteran of Peacetime. Surviving are sons, Jimmy Harper - (Loretta) of Russellville, KY, Benny Harper of Lewisburg, KY, Billy Harper of Lewisburg, KY, Teddy Harper - (Lisa)of Lewisburg, KY and Wally Harper - (Rita) of Lewisburg, KY, daughter, Patty Gibbs - (Bill) of Springfield, TN, sisters, Nell Wentzel of Brandon, FL and Wanda Anderson - (Robert) of Danville, KY; 7 grand children; 5 great grand children and 3 step great grand children; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Hardin Harper, Randall Harper, Jerry Ray Harper and Ivan Harper, sister, Mildred Cordel. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256. Interment will be in Arnold Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
