Virginia Lee Gupton

Virginia Lee Gupton, 95 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at her residence. She was born Monday, June 11, 1917 in Logan Co., Kentucky, the daughter of the late James Gilliam and the late Minnie Lyons Gilliam. She was the wife of the late George Ernest Gupton for 67 years. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She was also a loving sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Surviving are sons, George M. Gupton - (Liz) of MT, Jerry T. Gupton -(Cindy) of Lewisburg, KY, Robert Bruce Gupton of Lewisburg, KY and Earl David Gupton of Lewisburg, KY, daughters, Minnie Lou White - (Bob) of OH, Beverly Sue Stahl - (Jerry) of Russellville, KY, Brenda Joyce Gupton - (Joe) of TX and Jackie Saindon - (Len) of Franklin, KY, sister, Elvira Parker of Russellville, KY; 19 grand children; 22 great grand children and 1 great great grandchild. Several loving nieces, nephews, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by infant daughter, Peggy Jean Gupton, brothers, Monroe Gilliam, Mack Gilliam, Marion Gilliam and Willie Gilliam, sisters, Mary Taylor, Eva Knight and Ora Swallows. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Wayne Hunter and Rev. Bart Myers officiating. Interment will be in Vernal Grove Cemetery, Depoy, KY. The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM to on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
