Virginia Dawson Brown

Mrs. Virginia (Dawson) Brown, age 95, of Olmstead, Ky., died Friday, September 8, 2006, at her residence in Olmstead, Ky. Mrs. Brown was a retired School Teacher in the Logan County School System and a homemaker. She was a member of Bethany Church of Christ. She was the daughter of the late Leonard Dawson and the late Jessie (Dockins) Dawson. She was the wife of the late Thomas Benjamin Brown, Sr. She is survived by her One Daughter, Mrs. Jane B. (Brown) Sweatt of Olmstead, Ky. Three Sons, Mr. Tom Brown, Jr. of Olmstead, Ky. Dr. George Brown of Elkton, Ky. Mr. Bradley Brown of Olmstead, Ky. One Sister, Mrs. Sue Wilson of Olmstead, Ky. Two Brothers, Mr. John Dawson of Olmstead, Ky. Mr. Frank Dawson of Hendersonville, N.C. Green St. - P.O. Box 299, Lewisburg, Ky.. The family will receive friends at the Bethany Church of Christ after 5:00 PM Monday, September 11, 2006. Funeral service will be at the Bethany Church of Christ at 3:00 PM Tuesday, September 12, 2006 , Harris Dockins and Frank Dockins officiating. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Russellville, Ky. Directions to Bethany Church of Christ from the stop light at the Hwy 68/80 By-Pass and Hwy 79 intersection in Russellville, Ky.. Take Hwy 79 South 8.6 miles to Hwy 775. Turn left on Hwy 775 and go 2.8 miles to the Lickskillet Rd.. Turn right on Lickskillet Rd. and go 1/2 mile to the Bethany Church of Christ.
