Virgil Lee Timberlake

Virgil Lee Timberlake, 82 of Beechland Road, Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Thursday, February 13, 2014, at his residence. He was born Monday, February 16, 1931 in Muncie, Indiana, the son of the late Dewey Timberlake and the late Olga Tipton Timberlake. He was the husband of 63 years to Mary (Richmond)Timberlake, who survives. He was employed for 22 years by Chicopee Manufacturing Co, a branch of Johnson & Johnson in Milltown, NJ. He served in the Army and was a Veteran of Korea. He was a member of Beechland Baptist Church. For the past several years he has been a close friend of the Amish Community. He was a former volunteer fireman for the North Brunswick, NJ fire department where he served as fire chief for two years. Also surviving are son, Steve Timberlake - (Debbie) of Lewisburg, KY, daughter, Vanessa Kremer of Lewisburg, KY; 5 grand children; 9 great grand children. He was predeceased by sisters, Lucille Leigh and Christine Ellis. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Rev. Craig Skipworth officiating. Interment will be in Beechland Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY.
