Violet Mae Pursley, 80 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Auburn Health Care in Auburn, Kentucky. She was born Thursday, May 16, 1935 in Logan County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Ernest Pursley and the late Geneva Williams Pursley. She was a factory worker for General Electric and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Surviving are sisters, Brenda Wilson - (Glen) of Russellville, KY and Linda Cole- (Terry) of Russellville, KY, and 2 special cousins, Elaine Thompson of Owensboro, KY, and Darlene Snyder of Owensboro, KY. She was predeceased by brother, Gordan Pursley and sister, Dorothy Logan. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Joey Snyder officiating. Interment will be in Jarrett Cemetery, Logan Co., KY.
