Verna Lou Penrod, 93 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Magnolia Village in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was born December 16, 1919 in Clarksville, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Aaron Chronister and the late Barbara Bean Thompson. She was the wife of the late Marvin Penrod. She was a retired Secretary/Book Keeper at a Jewelry Company and a member of United Methodist Temple. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Dr. J. Earl Coker officiating. Interment will be in Fitzhugh Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY.
