Verdie Marie Coursey

Verdie Marie Coursey, 72 of Evansville, Indiana died on Sunday, August 11, 2013, at VNA Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville, Indiana. She was born Saturday, October 5, 1940, the daughter of the late Walter Joines and the late Dovie Garrett Joines. She was the wife of Alvin Coursey, who survives. She was a sales clerk for a grocery store and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. Surviving are son, Gary Coursey of Evansville, IN, sister, Edna Skipworth of Lewisburg, KY; 2 grand children, Craig Coursey and Kayla Coursey, both of Evansville, IN. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Wileys Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Lowe officiating. Interment will be in Wileys Chapel Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY.
