Verda Mae Fulkerson, 81 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at her home in Russellville, Kentucky. She was born Tuesday, January 17, 1933 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Raymond Sampson and the late Gracie Fleming Sampson. She was the wife of the late Ezra Earl Fulkerson for 51 years. She was a housewife and a member of Plainview General Baptist Church. Surviving are sons, Donald Fulkerson (Christie) of Auburn, KY, Gerald "Chip" Fulkerson (Sharon) of Russellville, KY and Herbie Fulkerson (Sandra) of Russellville, KY, daughters, Darline Anderson (Charles) of Quality, KY and Marline Marshall of Russellville, KY, brother, Rondell Sampson (Pauletta) of Belton, KY, sisters, Betty Dukes of Owensboro, KY, Elaine Hudson of Belton, KY, Joyce Dickerson (Tommy) of Beechmont, KY, Stella Fulkerson of Greenville, KY, Linda Clary (David) of Owensboro, KY and Kathy Turley (Dale) of Auburn, KY; 11 grand children; 15 great grand children. She was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, C.J. Anderson, and Scott Fulkerson. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Bro. Walter Evitts officiating. Interment will be in Union Ridge Cemetery, Muhlenberg Co,, KY.
