Urel Garvin McKinney, 75 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, Kentucky. He was born Monday, October 16, 1939 in Hanson, Kentucky, the son of the late Windell Garvin McKinney and the late Almanell Garrett McKinney. He was the husband of the late Elcie Perry McKinney. He was a self employed farmer and a member of Mt. Vernon General Baptist Church. Surviving are sons, Ralph McKinney of Lewisburg, KY and Chris McKinney of Lewisburg, KY, daughter, Loria Rice of Auburn, KY, brothers, Linville McKinney of Russellville, KY, Rayburn McKinney of Draffenville, KY, Randall McKinney of Lewisburg, KY and Ricky McKinney of Lewisburg, KY; 3 grand children; 4 great grand children. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Rev. Glen Harper officiating. Interment will be in Jarrett Cemetery, Logan Co., KY. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
