Udell "Luke" Wells, 94 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Hearthstone Place in Elkton, Kentucky. He was born Tuesday, February 17, 1920 in Gordansville, Kentucky, the son of the late Willis Wells and the late Opie Wells. He was the husband of the late Helen Barton Wells. He was a store room clerk for Rockwell and a farmer. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and a member of Green Ridge Baptist Church. Surviving are son, Ricky Lynn Wells (Cheryl) of Russellville, KY, daughter, Janis Kaye Anderson (Gary) of Lewisburg, KY; 2 grand children, Leslie Ashby (Mark) of Russellville, KY, and David Wells of Russellville, KY; 5 great grand children. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday at Green Ridge Baptist Church located at Highland Lick Road Russellville, Kentucky 42276 with the Rev. Robert Tarence, Rev. Tommy Wilhite, Rev. Jim Gifford and Rev. Gary Dawson officiating. Interment will be in Greenridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky. Visitation will also be from 8:00 AM-11:00 AM on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Price Funeral Home, Inc and from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Green Ridge Baptist Church.
