Thomas Presley Guffy

Thomas Presley Guffy, 88 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Friday, January 23, 2015, at his home in Lewisburg, Kentucky. He was born Saturday, April 3, 1926, the son of the late Robert Guffy and the late Viola Powell Guffy. He was a carpenter and an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Elk Lick Baptist Church. Surviving are sons, Tommy Guffy of Lewisburg, KY and Bobby Guffy of Auburn, KY, sister, Edith McElwain of Russellville, KY; 3 half brothers, Roy Wood of Lewisburg, KY, Gaylen Wood of Lewisburg, KY, and Floyd Wood of TN; 4 grand children; 6 great grand children. He was predeceased by brother, Horace Guffy, sister, Waynetta King, and half brother, Dewey Wood. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Larry Eaton officiating. Interment will be in Smith Cemetery, Logan Co., KY. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
