Thomas Clayton Benton, 74 of the Coopertown Rd. Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at his residence. He was born Monday, March 9, 1936, the son of the late Porter Benton and the late Ola Hicks Porter. He was the husband of Yvonne Johnson Benton, who survives. He was retired from Purolator as a Truck Driver. He was a Baptist. Surviving are son, Steve Benton of Russellville, KY, daughters, Karon B. Lacefield of Clarkson, KY and Sherry J. Clark of Lewisburg, KY, brothers, William Earl Benton of Springfield, TN, Bobby Benton of Greenbrier, TN, David Benton of Springfield, TN and Don Benton, sisters, Judy Brown of Portland, TN, Linda Darby of New Castle, IN and Betty Gipson; 3 grand children; 1 great grand child. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Hank Hubbs and Rev. Joe Carrico officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Garden Cemetery, Russellville, KY. The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
