Shirley Jean Bell Wells, 81 of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away at 4:40 A.M. on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Alive Hospice of Nashville TN in Nashville, Tennessee.
She was born Sunday, January 10, 1943 in Lewisburg, Kentucky to the late Vora Bell and the late Ina Jenkins Bell. She enjoyed reading, writing, painting, and was a firm believer in Christ. Shirley will be remembered for her unrelenting love for her family, especially her grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by her two daughters, Lisa (Tina) Secrist of Hermitage, TN, Stephanie (Brian) Taylor of Lewisburg, KY; son, Phillip (Shannon) Wells of Sharon Grove, KY; her beloved grandchildren, Haley (Justin) Davis of Bowling Green, KY, Tristan Taylor of Lewisburg, KY, Morgan Taylor of Lewisburg, KY, Christopher Wells of Sharon Grove, KY, Lucas Taylor of Lewisburg, KY; her siblings, Nancy Williams of Lewisburg, KY, Patricia McGhee of Lewisburg, KY, Vicki Borders of Sharon Grove, KY, Ricky (Ruthie) Bell of Kuna, ID, Chris Bell of Sharon Grove, KY.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Saunders and brother, David Bell.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg; with Bro. Earl Reeves officiating. Interment will be in Wiley's Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the time of the service on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
