Shirley Faye Penrod

Shirley Faye Penrod, 81 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Monday, January 11, 2021, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was born Friday, October 27, 1939 in Beech Creek, Kentucky, the daughter of the late John Louis Forgy and the late Dorothy Knight Forgy. She was the wife of James Penrod, who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Baugh Station General Baptist Church. Also surviving are sons, Pat Brown- (Judy) of Russellville, KY, David Brown- (Terri) of Lewisburg, KY, Junior Brown- (Thelma) of Lewisburg, KY, Mike Brown- (Cindy) of Dickson, TN and Chris Penrod of Russellville, KY; step-son, Jimmy Penrod of Lewisburg, KY; daughter, June Brown of Lewisburg, KY; step-daughter, Anna Lois Cason- (David) of Lewisburg, KY; brother, Terrell Forgy- (Missy) of Auburn, KY; sisters, Sharon Forgy of Russellville, KY and Charlotte Forgy of Lewisburg, KY; 26 grand children; 22 great grand children; 1 great great grandchild. She was predeceased by sister, Emma Lou Forgy. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Darren Pentecost and Bro. Glen Harper officiating. Interment will be in Fitzhugh Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends 6:00 PM on Friday, January 15, 2021, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky. There will also be visitation on Saturday, starting at 11:00 AM and lasting until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be sent to Baugh Station General Baptist Church P.O. Box 57 Lewisburg, KY 42256. Due to current mandates set forth by the Governor of Kentucky, there is an occupancy limit of 75 inside the funeral home facility, not including funeral home staff or officiating clergy. It is also required that a mask be correctly worn at all times while inside the facility.
