Shirley Ann Rayis Ward, 53 of State Rt. 973, Greenville, Kentucky died on Thursday, January 29, 2009, at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville, Kentucky. She was born Saturday, September 10, 1955 in Monticello, Kentucky. She was the wife of Daniel Ward. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Faye (Fultz) Carrender. She was a homemaker and a member of New Salem Baptist Church - Monticello, KY. Surviving are sons, George Rayis of Troy, MI and Jack Alan Rayis of Troy, MI, daughters, Janice Cannova of Conway, AR, Danielle Ward of Russell Springs, KY and Brandy Rayis of Louisville, KY, brothers, Lee Gunn of Johnson City, TN, Walter Gunn and Alan Hardwick of Somerset, KY, sisters, Kay Webb and Carolyn Lovell of Monticello, KY; 5 grand children.
