Sarabelle Homer Vaughn, 87 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Sunday, August 24, 2014, at her home in Lewisburg, Kentucky. She was born Tuesday, August 31, 1926 in Wilson, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Cecil Homer and the late Hattie Belle Kennerly Homer. She was the wife of Tommy Vaughn of 71 years, who survives. She was an office manager for Vaughn Heating & Air and a member of Worldwide Church of God. Surviving are sons, Rodney Vaughn (Helen) of Lewisburg, KY and Bruce Vaughn (Anna) of Lewisburg, KY, daughters, Cheryl Whitescarver (Dean) of Lewisburg, KY, Janeen Thomas (Gary) of Lewisburg, KY and Carol Dye of Tulsa, OK; 15 grand children; 32 great grand children, and 7 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, David Vaughn, brother, Cecil David Homer, Jr. of Houston, TX, and sister, Joy Harrington of Tempe, AZ. A Graveside service will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday at Lewisburg Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Forrest officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY.
