Rev. Sammy "Bro. Sam" Kay Romines, 71 of Bowling Green, Kentucky died on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at his residence in Bowling Green. He was born Friday, February 17, 1950, the son of the late Curtis Andrew Romines and the late Ruby Estes Romines. He was the husband of Dr. Elaine Painter of Bowling Green, KY. He was a retired Cumberland Presbyterian minister who had served the following churches: Mt. Zion, Mt. Olivet, Gills Chapel, Greenridge and Lewisburg. Bro. Romines was also the former Mission Coordinator of Cumberland Presbytery and had served on many boards and commissions for the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He had also been an active member of the Burden Bearer Chaplains, Lewisburg Fire Department and First Responders. Also surviving are daughter, Angelia Romines of Lewisburg, KY, brother, Jimmy Romines-(Carolyn) of Canmer, KY. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Aluria (Noe) Romines. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Bro. Steve Delashmit and Bro. Mike Humble officiating. The family will receive friends after 3:00 PM on Friday, October 22, 2021, and after 12:30 PM on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
