Rufus Alvin Tanner, Jr., 68 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Friday, May 3, 2019, at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee. He was born Sunday, January 14, 1951, the son of the late Rufus Tanner and the late Elizabeth Riley Tanner. He was a retired crane operator for Logan Aluminum and was a gifted songwriter. Surviving are son, Josh Tanner of Russellville, KY, daughter, Jamie Tanner of Russellville, KY; 7 grand children. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky. The family has chosen cremation to follow the visitation with no public funeral service.
