Roger Dale Skipworth

Rev. Roger Dale Skipworth, 67 of Elkton, Kentucky died on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born Sunday, July 5, 1953 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, the son of the late Shellie Skipworth and the late Alpha Garrett Skipworth. He was the husband of Carole Smith Skipworth, who survives Serving as a Baptist minister for many years in the Lewisburg area, he was most recently Pastor of Allegre Baptist Church in Allegre, KY. Also surviving are sons, Christopher Skipworth-(Erica) of Elkton, KY and Craig Skipworth-(Amanda) of Russellville, KY; daughter, Cynthia Wiles-(Michael) of Elkton, KY; brother, Darrell Skipworth of Lewisburg, KY; sisters, Carolyn McCall -(Bill) of Russellville, KY and Phyllis Bilbrey-(Dallas) of Russellville, KY; 7 grand children. A Funeral service will be at 2:30 PM on Monday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church located at 954 Stacker St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Curtis McGhee and Bro. Chris Skipworth officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Monday, July 5, 2021, at Mt.
