Robert Howard Fleming

Robert "Bob" Howard Fleming, 92 of the Fleming Rd. Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at his residence. He was born Monday, November 13, 1916 in Todd Co., Kentucky, the son of the late Verna Marshall Fleming and the late Eupha Floyd (Walker) Fleming. He was the husband of Hazel (Johnson) Fleming of Lewisburg, who survives. He was retired from Rockwell and had also been a farmer and carpenter. He was a Kentucky Colonel and member of Elk Lick Baptist Church. Surviving are son, Stanley Wayne Fleming - (wife - Elaine) of Lewisburg, KY; 5 grand children; Krista Lynn Fleming of Atlanta, GA Kerri Jennifer Groen of Atlanta, GA Eddie Donald Fleming of Atlanta, GA John Heath Sweeney of Charleston, SC Tara Nicole Sweeney of Lewisburg, KY 5 great grand children: Kayla Beth Vincent of Atlanta, GA Madeline Francis Groen of Atlanta, GA Gabrielle Sinclair Groen of Atlanta, GA Kyla Alexis Sweeney of Charleston, SC Michaela Serenity Sweeney of Charleston, SC He was predeceased by son, Richard Steven Fleming, and daughter, Beverly Gail Fleming. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday July 18, 2009 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Ken Cummins, Rev. Autry Moore and Rev. Art Hatfield officiating. Interment will be in Elk Lick Baptist Church Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY.
