Robert "Bob" Lee Cook

Robert Lee Cook of Lewisburg, KY, known to friends as “Bob,” and to his grandchildren as Da-daw, passed away at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky on December 8, 2020 at the age of 79. He was born July 1st, 1941 in Lexington, Kentucky, the son of the late Clarence Cook and the late Lola Nichols Cook. He was the beloved husband of Linda Evitts Cook, his bride of 58 years. He was the loving father of Rockford Lee Cook - (Angela) of Bowling Green, KY, daughter, Lisa Cook Larson - (Norm) of Russellville, KY. He was the proud grandfather of Savannah Larson Seibold (Tom), Taylor Cook McGehee (Caleb), MaCarly Cook Zoellick (Clint), Chandler Larson Bruner (Caleb), and Landon Robert Larson ; and the great grandfather of Jase Carter, Isabella Grace, and Simeon Lee. He was the owner of the Nelson Company of Kentucky, honorably served our country in the United States Air Force, and was an active member and former deacon of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Lewisburg, KY. He came to know the Lord at a young age and lived out his faith as a hard-working, generous man who cared for others and who loved his family deeply. His deep voice and big laugh were easily recognizable by those who knew him. He will be greatly missed but his legacy lives on through the many people whose lives he touched. Due to current mandates implemented by the Governor of Kentucky, all services for Robert "Bob" Lee Cook will be private. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Life Choice Pregnancy Care Center 152 N. Blakey St. Russellville, KY 42276.
