Richard "Ricky" Duane Woodall

Richard Duane “Ricky” Woodall, 64, of Lewisburg, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by family and friends.

Ricky was born on Thursday, December 25, 1958, and was a 1976 graduate of Lewisburg High School. Ricky married the love of his life, Pamela Goodman, on June 22, 1979. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of New Hope General Baptist Church.

He worked as a carpenter with his uncle, Bobby Woodall, at Logan Aluminum, and then later at Scotty’s Construction before retiring to his favorite job, farming. Ricky was also a talented musician and played bass guitar at church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Katheryn Chapman Woodall; maternal grandparents, Taylor and Nola Chapman; and paternal grandparents, Ard and Myrtle Woodall.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Pam; one son, Derick Woodall of Lewisburg; one daughter, Megan Woodall of Elkton; grandsons, Conner and Parker Woodall of Lewisburg; sister, Donna Cotton-(Kevin) of Madisonville; sister-in-law, Debbie Grubb- (Mike) of Quality; mother-in-law, Martha Rosser of Quality; and a host of many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Ricky was very fortunate to be able to spend his final days at home being loved on and cared for by his family.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at 2:00 pm at New Hope General Baptist Church with Bro. Arno Kranz and Bro. Gary Oberhausen officiating. Interment will be in Arnold Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green Street in Lewisburg. Visitation will also be held on Sunday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. After visitation on Sunday, there will be a procession to the church.
