Rev. James Carl Sharp

Rev. James Carl Sharp, age 84, of Lewisburg, Ky., died Friday, June 16, 2006, at his residence in Lewisburg, Ky. Rev. Sharp was employed as a General Baptist Minister. He Served in the Army during World War II. He was the son of the late Robert Sharp and the late Emma (Pogue) Sharp. He was the husband of the late Myrtle Novella (Tooley) Sharp. He is survived by his Two Daughters, Mrs. Rita (Sharp) Crafton of Lewisburg, Ky. Mrs. Janice (Sharp) Kees of Lewisburg, Ky. Three Sons, Mr. Danny Sharp of Lewisburg, Ky. Mr. Mike Sharp of Lewisburg, Ky. Mr. Ronnie Sharp of Clifty, Ky. One Brother, Mr. Raymond Sharp of Oregon. Nine grandchildren Thirteen great-grandchildren He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Hilda Faye Sharp. Arrangements are being handled by Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St. - P.O. Box 299, Lewisburg, Ky., where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM Saturday, June 17, 2006 and from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM Sunday, June 18, 2006. Visitation will also be held at Pleasant Union General Baptist Church on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the funeral. Funeral service will be at Pleasant Union General Baptist at 2:30 PM Sunday, June 18, 2006 , Rev. Johnny Culbertson and Rev. Kris Freeman officiating.
