Raymond O'Dell Adler

Raymond O'dell Adler, 81 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at his home. He was born Monday, May 31, 1943 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, the son of the late Sherman Garfield Adler Sr. and the late Oma Todd Fitzhugh Adler. He was the husband of Margaret Holder Adler, who survives. He was retired from General Motors in Dayton, OH. He was also a gardener, wood worker, and an electrician. He was an Army Veteran of Korea and a member of Southern Heights Baptist Church. Surviving are sons, Blaine Adler of Memphis, TN and Todd Adler (Rhonda) of Russellville, KY, daughters, Tonja Adler Miller (Ed) of Marysville, OH and Tammie Adler Dye (Bryan) of Russellville, KY, brothers, Sherman Adler, Jr. of Lewisburg, KY and Eddie Adler of Fort Myers, FL, sisters, Lillie Belle Johnson of Russellville, KY and Alice Marie Gower of Lewisburg, KY; 11 grand children, Amanda Kay Adler of Rockfield, KY, Anthony Adler of Tullahoma, TN, Shelly Adler of Murfreesboro, TN, Zachery Kyle Adler of Russellville, KY, Kaelyn Rae Adler of Russellville, KY, Katie Miller of Marysville, OH, Melissa Miller of Russellville, KY, Macie Raye Dye of Russellville, KY, Megan Michelle Breanne Dye of Russellville, KY, Zachary Ryan Keith Dye of Russellville, KY, Steven Nathaniel Dye of Russellville, KY; 4 great grand children, Abigail Lynn Schultz of Rockfield, KY, Aiden Parker Schultz of Rockfield, KY, Jaxon Everrett Roth of Marysville, OH, and Braylin Wayne Cunningham of Murfreesboro, TN. He was predeceased by brother, Douglas Adler. A Memorial service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Southern Heights Baptist Church. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Russellville, KY.
