Phyllis Sherrod Dukes, 78 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Greenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
She was born Sunday, June 30, 1946, the daughter of the late Ewell Wells and the late Marie Wells Vincent. She was the wife of the late Jackie Dukes.
She was a pharmacy tech at Gower Drug Store and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Darla (Jon) Barrow of Auburn, KY; sister, Joan Castellano of Waco, TX; brother, John Wells of Lexington, KY; grandson, Macon Barrow of Auburn, KY; granddaughter, Chaney Barrow of Auburn, KY.
She was predeceased by brother, David Ewell Wells and first husband, Coy Ray Sherrod.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg; with Bro. Tim Nugent and Bro. Ronnie Forrest officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service on Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
There will be another visitation on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the funeral home starting at 6:00 pm.
