Odell Hardison

Odell Hardison, 94 of Penrod, Kentucky died on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at Maple Manor Health Care Center in Greenville, Kentucky. She was born Monday, August 28, 1922 in Todd County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Alvin Joines and the late Vera Blake Joines. She was the wife, for 54 years, of the late Foster Hardison. She was a homemaker, retired from Red Kap Sewing factory and was a member of Penrod Baptist Church. She was active in her church, loved her family, quilting and gardening. She gave her heart to the Lord at the age of 14 and spent the rest of her life serving God and others. Philippians 3:14 says.(I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus) Surviving are sons, Russell Hardison of Lewisburg, KY and Jewell Hardison -(Elaine) of Hopkinsville, KY, daughter, Margie Carver - (Buck) of Penrod, KY. son-in-law, Sidney Bond of Russellville, KY, sister, Estel Davis of Evansville, IN, brothers, Charlie Joines - (Pam) of Evansville, IN and James Joines - (Joyce) of Lewisburg, KY, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 6 great great grand children. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Carolyn Bond. The funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green Street, Lewisburg, KY 42256 with Bro. Delbert Bryant and Bro. Brent Waltrip officiating. Burial will be in the Penrod Baptist Church Cemetery.
