Nellie (Granny) Irene Christie

Nellie (Granny) Irene Christie, 89 of Dunmor, Kentucky died on Thursday, January 21, 2016, at the Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville, Kentucky. She was born Tuesday, February 23, 1926, the daughter of the late Isaac McIntosh and the late Annie Moore McIntosh. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Christie. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Moriah Church of Christ. Surviving are son, Mark Christie of Dunmor, KY, daughter, Faye Woodlee of Dunmor, KY, sisters, Nadine Costellow of Lewisburg, KY and Dona Belle Wood of Dunmor, KY; 6 grand children; 12 great grand children 12 great great grandchildren, A special nephew, Mike McIntosh of Dunmor and several other nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by son, Kenny Christie and a grandson Steven Trent Christie. A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256. Interment will be in Mt. Moriah Church Of Christ Cemetery, Muhlenberg Co., KY.
