Mitchell Eric Yates, 56 of Auburn, Kentucky died on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at the Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born Thursday, May 22, 1958 in Russellville, Kentucky, the son of the late Gerald Douglas Yates and Alice Washer Yates, of Auburn, KY who survives. He was the husband of Teresa Latham Yates of Auburn, KY who survives. He was a machine mechanic at the Carpenter Co. in Russellville, KY for 38 years and was a member of Plainview General Baptist Church. Also surviving are sons, Thomas Lee Yates - (Beth) of Russellville, KY and Jonathan Everitt Yates - (Christa) of Auburn, KY, brother, Ricky Yates - (Alice) of Auburn, KY; 2 grand children, Addilynn Leigh Yates and Gracie Paige Yates, both of Russellville, KY. He was predeceased by a son, Eric Shawn Yates. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Arno Kranz officiating. Interment will be in Plainview Church Cemetery, Auburn, KY. The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Monday, October 6, 2014, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
