Mildred Vondell Mcpherson

Mildred Vondell McPherson, age 87 of the McPherson Ln. (Lake Malone Area) Dunmor, KY., died Sunday March 27, 2005 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. after a brief Illness. She was born in Muhlenberg County, KY. on September 24, 1917. She was a lifelong member of the Myers Chapel United Methodist Church. Having been the oldest in membership of that church, she was a very devoted and faithful member to it and to her community where she resided for the 87 years of her life. She had been employed by Baxter Industries in Greenville, KY. and Rockwell International in Russellville, KY. from which she retired after 25 years. After her devotion to God and church, she loved her gardening and country cooking for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Elmo McPherson (1982) and Chessie (Driskill) McPherson (1972) and three brothers, Arthur Louis(1981), Windell Hoyt(2003) and Cleon (2005) McPherson. She is survived by two Sisters, Ima Gossett and Ludie Bowers both of Greenville, KY., one sister-in-law, Beverly McPherson of Dunmor, Ky., several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Visitation will be held at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, KY. on Tuesday March 29, 2005 after 5:00 P.M.. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 30, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the Myers Chapel United Methodist Church in Muhlenberg Co., KY.. Burial will follow in the McPherson Cemetery (Muhlenberg Co., KY, near Lake Malone).
