John Michael (Mike) Mayfield, 62 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born Thursday, August 4, 1949 in Atlanta, Texas, he was the son of the late DeLane Mayfield and the late Josephine Bond Mayfield. He was the husband of Sandra Grimes Mayfield, who survives. He was a Self Employed Carpenter. Surviving are son, Robert Grimes-(Laura) of Auburn, KY, daughters, Rebecca Mayfield of Lewisburg, KY, Viki Grimes of TX and Leslie McCoy, grandson, Cody McCoy, brothers, James Earl Cates and Pete Mayfield, sisters, Betty Peterson and Linda Beth Caldwell all of TX and special friends John and Becky Martin. A Celebration of Life will be held Sarurday, April 21 , 2012 from 3pm -5pm at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Simmons and Larry Vaught officiating.
