Maxine Owens, 75 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville. She was born Friday, March 12, 1943 in Kimmswick, Missouri, the daughter of the late Willie Close and the late Anna Nash Benz. She was the wife of Bill (Junior) Owens who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church in Russellville. Also surviving are sons, William Alan Owens of Taylorsville, KY and Joshua Thomas Owens of Russellville, KY, brother, Billy Close of Hermann, MO, sisters, Jeanette Strosnider of Bourbon, MO, Lavada Sanders of Hermann, MO, Connie Young of Saint James, MO, Susan Czeschin of Eldon, MO, Sharon Myers of Hermann, MO, Judy Fritzmeyer of Owensville, MO and Sandy Lackman of Hermann, MO. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Dr. Ron Wells officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends after 6:00 PM on Friday, November 30, 2018, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
