Mary Rebecca Poyner

Mrs. Mary Rebecca (Simmons) Poyner, age 97, of Dunmor, Ky., died Friday, August 4, 2006, at the Russellville Health Care Manor in Russellville, Ky. Mrs. Poyner was a retired school teacher with the Muhlenberg Co. School System and was the oldest member of Dunmor Baptist Church. She was a member of Eastern Star and the Retired Teachers Assoc. She was the daughter of the late James Simmons and the late Heneritta (Kennerly) Simmons. She was the wife of the late Mason Poyner. She is survived by her One Sister, Mrs. Mildred Dorris of Dunmor, Ky. Two Nieces, Mrs. Joyce Parrish of Russellville, Ky. Mrs. Joetta Dempsey of Bowling Green, Ky. Arrangements are being handled by Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St. - P.O. Box 299, Lewisburg, Ky., where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, August 6, 2006.
