Mary Elizabeth Smith

Mary Elizabeth Smith, 94 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, Kentucky. She was born Sunday, September 24, 1922 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, the daughter of the late John Shoemaker and the late Jackie Dillon. She was the wife of the late Gordon Smith. She was a Home Extension Agent and a member of Elk Lick Baptist Church. Surviving are sons, Charles Smith (Linda) of Manchester, TN, Glenn Smith (Patti) of Port St. Loucie, FL and Alan Smith (Rose) of Lewisburg, KY, sister, Alice Egbert of Belleville, MI; 7 grand children; 3 step-grandchildren; 16 great grand children; 1 great great grandchild. She was predeceased by brothers, George Robert Shoemaker, John Kenneth Shoemaker and Dillon Gardner Shoemaker. A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Rev. Dale Hanson officiating. Interment will be in Elk Lick Baptist Church Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the start of the funeral on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
