Mary Agnes Harris

Mary Agnes Harris, 89 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at her home. She was born September 29, 1923 in Dunmor, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Walter McPherson and the late Jennie Hunt McPherson. She was the wife for 66 years of Nolvis Harris, who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Beechland Baptist Church. Despite decreased mobility and poor health during her last 13 years, Mrs. Harris inspired others with her perseverance and sweeet loving spirit. Surviving are son, Ron Harris (Barbara) of Russellville, KY, daughters, Carolyn Arnold (Durwood) of Central City, KY and Sue Taylor (Gary) of Bowling Green, KY, brother, Jim McPherson of Russellville, KY, sister, Lorene Green of Waterford, MI; 8 grand children; 8 great grand children; 5 step grand children; 10 step great grand children; and 7 step great great grand children. She was predeceased by sisters, Odell Skipworth and Olene Long. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Richard Allen and Rev. Thurman Harris officiating. Interment will be in Elk Lick Baptist Church Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY.
