Marsha Lynn Dunn Franklin was born on January 10, 1957 in Louisville, KY. She was raised by her grandmother, Eveadean Prather, whom she called "Mom." Marsha was always a beautiful girl, even Homecoming Queen at Jesse Stuart High School. She completed 11th grade, but she didn't graduate because she married at 17 to her first husband, the father of her three children, David Madison. This marriage ended in divorce, although they remained friends. She was fated to meet Ronnie "Doc" Franklin, Sr. in Bowling Green, KY. She was working at Red's Restaurant and Doc worked next door at the Spillway Bar. They fell in love and were married on November 14, 2003. They resided in Lewisburg ("Momma" to Doc- and she called him "Dad") with her son David Alan.

Surely the best thing that ever happened to Marsha was when she was only 17, she met the Lord and was Saved by His Grace in the basement of a wonderful family friend name Kenneth Roof. She talked many times of her Salvation and what it meant to her. Sadly, after a brief illness and having battled health issues, in addition to losing her beloved husband, "Dad," Marsha just couldn't go on. Her poor broken heart stopped beating on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, just three days after losing Ronnie.

Marsha is survived by her children, Ronnie Wayne Franklin, Jr. and his wife Mary Beth, David Alan Madison, Allison "Sissy" Luttrell and her husband Tony, Benjamin Ray Franklin, Dereke Austin Madison and his wife Stephanie. She loved and adored her grandchildren; she was known as "Mammaw" to Clere Franklin, Dawson Franklin, Markus Franklin, Greyson Franklin, Carlee Beth Franklin, Joshua Caleb Vincent, and Sarah Madison. She was known as Neenie to her granddaughter Starr. She adored her great grandbabies, Jeremiah, Lucas, Knox, and Nova Franklin.

She is further survived by her sister, Theresa Orth of South Dakota, her sister-in-law Linda Lou Perez and her husband Alberto, and her brother-in-law Jimmy Franklin.

Marsha was preceded in death by her mom, Dean, her dad Bob Calvert, and her beloved husband, Ronnie.

Our hearts are truly broken as we say goodbye to Dad and Momma, but we know they are at rest together where there is no pain. She was always caring for everyone else and she never took time to rest- rest now, Momma, we love you.
