He was born Wednesday, March 3, 1971 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the son of Harold Staples and Patty Kitchens Staples of Dunmor, KY . He was the husband of Dayna Abbott Staples of Franklin, KY.. He was employed by TSC in Franklin, KY and attended Dunmor Baptist Church. Also surviving are son, Marcus Brent Staples, II of Portland, TN, step-daughter, Kennedy Hadden of Adairville, KY, brothers, Dwayne Staples of Powderly, KY and Ricky Staples of Hodgenville, KY, sisters, Darlene Staples of Russellville, KY and Debbie Staples of Elkton, KY; 2 grand children, Marcus Brent Staples, III and Lorelai Annabellea Staples both of Franklin, KY, special nephew, Kaleb Staples of Central City, KY, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Jeremy Whitney officiating. Burial will follow in Dunmor Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
