Magdalene White, 95 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, Kentucky. She was born Saturday, February 9, 1918 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Carl Lyons and the late Essie Flemming Lyons. She was the wife of the late Roy Van White. She was a self employed artist and a member of Oak Forrest Baptist Church. Surviving are son, Bryan White of Lewisburg, KY, brother, Kenneth Lyons of Danville, IL, sisters, Faye "Tom" Shelton of Melvin, IL and Sally Pogue of Lansing, IL; grand child, Jennifer of Ohio, 2 great grand children, Mathew Thomas of Ohio, and Cody Helton of Lewisburg, KY; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by daughters, Rita White and Carol Harper. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Mickey McPherson and Rev. John Major officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY.
