Louis Edward Baker, 71 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Friday, March 22, 2013, at Hospice House of Southern KY in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born July 6, 1941 in Logan County, Kentucky, the son of the late Truman Baker and the late Willie Jaynes Baker. He was the husband of Phyllis Hardison Baker, who survives. He was a truck driver for Carpenter Co. and a member of Second Baptist Church. Surviving are son, Phil Baker (Lynette) of Russellville, KY, daughters, Teresa Harper (David) of Onalaska, WI, Vicki Higgins (Michael) of Virginia Beach, VA and Betsy Reeves (Corey) of Russellville, KY, sister, Doris McPherson (Narvel) of Lewisburg, KY; 12 grand children; 10 great grand children. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Second Baptist Church located at 401 E. 2nd St. Russellville, Kentucky 42276 with Bro. Steve Smith, Pat Kerstiens, and Bro. Larry Baker officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Monday, March 25, 2013, at Second Baptist Church, 401 E. 2nd St., Russellville, Kentucky.
