Linda Elane Smith

Linda Elane Smith, 73 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, Kentucky. She was born Tuesday, March 1, 1938 in Beech Creek, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Penrod and the late Gertrude Bradley Penrod. She was the wife of Dawson Ray Smith who survives. She was employed by Emerson Electric as an inspector. She was a member of Lewisburg Eastern Star Chapter. Surviving are son, Phil Smith of Lewisburg, KY, brother, Darrell Penrod of Greenville, KY, sisters, Charlene Mallory of Belton, KY, Faye Farmer of Russellville, KY, Ann Putman of Greenville, KY, Diane Grayson of Greenville, KY, Kathy King of Belton, KY and Pam Buchannon of Beechmont, KY, grand daughter, Philia Smith of Bardstown, KY, grand son, Tyler Smith of Bardstown, KY, grand daughter Mikayla Everly of Central City, KY, great grand daughters, Mina and Lamia Smith of Bardstown, KY. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church located at 954 Stacker St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Joe Simmons and the Rev. David Penrod officiating. There will be visitation at Price Funeral, Inc. on Thursday, July 14, 2011 beginning at 5:00 PM and again on Friday, July 15, 2011 from 8:00 AM til 11:00 AM. Visitation will also be held on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church after 12:00 noon. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Muhlenberg, KY.
