Lewis Dalton "L.D." Hinton, Jr., 67 of the Homer Rd. Russellville, Kentucky died on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at his residence. He was born Friday, January 14, 1944 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, the son of the late Lewis Dalton Hinton, Sr. and the late Jean Brown. Surviving are sons, Robert Lewis Hinton of Thompsons Station, TN and David Hinton of Lewisburg, KY, daughter, Ashley Hinton of Georgetown, KY; step mother, Sherolyne Hinton of Lewisburg, KY., Half sisters, Rita Coursey of Lewisburg, KY and Tammy Heltsley of Belton, KY, Half brother, Bobby Brown of Russellville, Ky. and 5 grand children. He was predeceased by son, Jeff Hinton, Half sister, Pam Danks and Half brother, Mitch Hinton. A Casual Celebration of his life will be at 1:30 PM on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Richard Allen, Rev. Joe Simmons and Johnny Guion officiating. The family will receive friends after 12:30 PM on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky. Mr. Hinton's body was donated to the University of Louisville for research. His ashes will be buried in the Lewisburg Cemetery at a later date.
