Lee Roy Whittaker

Lee Roy Whittaker, 88 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at his home in Lewisburg, Kentucky. He was born Tuesday, April 18, 1933 in Nashville, Tennessee, the son of the late Ernest Whittaker and the late Maybelle Whittaker. He was the husband of the late Anita Harris Whittaker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict. He also worked in setup and as an operator for the Methodist Publishing House in Nashville and was a member of Beechland Baptist Church. Surviving are son, Roy Lee Whittaker (Brenda) of Lewisburg, KY; brother, Pete Whittaker of Ashland City, TN; grandchild, Paige Whittaker-Higgins (Michael) of Clarksville, TN; step grandchild, Heather Johnson (Mitchell) of Lewisburg, KY; step great grandchild, Jenny Johnson of Lewisburg, KY. A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Buddy Crabtree and Bro. Richard Allen officiating. Interment will be in Beechland Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of the service on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky. Due to current mandates set forth by the Governor of Kentucky, there is an occupancy limit of 75 inside the funeral home facility, not including funeral home staff or officiating clergy.
