Layton Earl Bridges, 62 of the Duncan Ridge Rd. Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at his residence. He was born Saturday, April 5, 1947, the son of the late Lawrence Bridges and the late Mary Hall Bridges. He was the husband of Peggy Dawson Bridges who survives. He was employed by Local 181 as a construction worker. Surviving are sons, Jeff Bridges of Colorado Springs, CO and Chad Bridges of Russellville, KY, daughters, Mary Jo Conger of Russellville, KY, Jennifer Gross of Colorado Springs, CO, Marsha Giffis of Cottontown, TN and Lisa Vincent of Calhoun, KY; step-son, J.J. Stewart of Russellville, Ky, step-daughter, Christy Gibbs of Hopkinsville, KY., 16 grand children; 1 great grand child. A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256.
