Lawrence "Larry" Elwood Cox, 72 of Lewisburg, Kentucky diedTuesday, June 12, 2018, at his home in Lewisburg, Kentucky. He was born Sunday, January 27, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Ira Cox and the late Stella Epley Cox. He was the husband of Genevieve Hunt Cox, who survives. He was employed by BE&K, a Vietnam Veteran, and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Also surviving are sons, Travis Cox of Elkton, KY and Jamie Latham of Minneapolis, MN, daughter, Laura Cox of Bowling Green, KY, brother, Frank Cox of Frankfort, KY, sister, Wanda Hemsley of Chicago, IL; 5 grand children; 2 great grand children. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Travis Cox officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Butler Co., KY. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
