J.W. (Jack) Hunt, 88 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at his Residence in Lewisburg, Kentucky. He was born Thursday, August 9, 1923 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Willie Hunt and the late Minnie Gardner Hunt. He was the husband of Marvine Lacefield Hunt who survives. He was Self Employed. He served as a PVT in the Army from 1943 until 1946. He was a Veteran of World War II. He was part of the Normandy Invasion and also a recipent of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Church of Christ. Surviving are son, Larry Hunt of Bowling Green, KY, daughter, Shelia Hunt of Beechmont, KY; Step Daughters Robin Baugh of Lewisburg, Ky and Angie Baugh of Russellville, Ky; Step Sons Jeff Horton of Dunmor, Ky. and Tim Horton of Lewisburg, Ky; 8 grand children; 19 great grand children and 2 great great grand children. He was predeceased by son, Jackie Hunt. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 22, 2012, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
