June Brown Schleiter

Cynthia June Brown Schleiter, 65 of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at her home in Lewisburg.

She was born Saturday, March 1, 1958, the daughter of Bobby O. Brown, of Russellville, and the late Shirley Faye Forgy Penrod. She was the wife of the late Clayton Schleiter.

She was a homemaker and a member of Baugh Station General Baptist Church.

In addition to her father, June is survived by: a daughter, Cindy Knight Curtis of Louisville; a son, Anthony Knight of Floyd Knobs, IN; five brothers, Pat Brown- (Judy) of Russellville, David Brown- (Terri) of Lewisburg, Mike Brown- (Cindy) of Dickson, TN, Anthony Brown of Frankfort, Chris Penrod of Russellville, Jimmy Penrod of Lewisburg; sisters, Anna Lois Cason- (David) of Lewisburg, Ophia Lewis of Versailles, Annette Goff of Frankfort; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, June was preceded in death by a brother, Junior Brown, and her stepfather, James Penrod.

A funeral service will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg; with Bro. Jonathon Hadden and Chris Penrod officiating. Interment will be in Fitzhugh Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 5:00 pm on Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. There will also be visitation from 9:00 am until the time of the service on Friday.
